Sunset Concert Series
Enjoy the crisp Texas fall weather in early October by heading over to Grapevine Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park for the Sunset Concert Series. At this free event, families will listen to local bands play after nightfall and purchase light refreshments on the premises. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets for a more comfortable experience.

Halloween Treat Train
Hop aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad to experience the Halloween Treat Train in late October. Riders wear costumes and enjoy a ride in the Victorian-style era coaches to the Fort Worth Stockyards. Staff will dress up as well and pass out Halloween treats. Halloween at Grapevine Mills is another great event for families to participate in Halloween activities like pumpkin decorating, costume contests and listen to "scary" stories.

Candlelight Tour of Homes
In mid-November, take a stroll through Grapevine's Historic Township for the Candlelight Tour of Homes. Participants will walk by gorgeous houses and buildings dating back to the 1800s. Many of the homes are listed in the National Register of Historic Places and homeowners will greet participants and tell stories and details of their homes. This tour is self-guided.

ICE! at Gaylord Texan Resort
Grapevine is famous for its memorable Gaylord Texan Resort that is known for its wow factor when it comes to the holidays. Starting as early as November 12, the resort hosts ICE!, an event featuring more than 2 million pounds of ice sculptures. Families will be given warm coats to browse through larger than life ice sculptures of Santa in cowboy boots, elves and a North Pole village. At Gaylord Texan, families will also see a 54-foot tall Christmas tree and up to 2 million lights throughout the resort

Snowland! at Great Wolf Lodge
Beginning in November, Grapevine is the Christmas Capital of the Texas® with tons of seasonal events starting as early as November. Snowland! at the Great Wolf Lodge turns the indoor waterpark into a winter wonderland with special visits from Santa Claus and a life-sized gingerbread house for families to explore. Children will be invited to the Santa's Letter Writing Depot, Great Clock Tower Show, Story Time and the Polar Bear Walk.

North Pole Express®
Beginning in late November, North Pole Express becomes one of Grapevine's most popular family attractions around the holiday. Guests begin their journey as they board the beautifully decorated Grapevine Vintage Railroad's Victorian rail coaches. As the train departs, elves welcome the guests and sing traditional Christmas songs. Guests then arrive at the "North Pole" to see Santa. Saint Nicholas wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and then shares his Frosty Chocolate Snow Milk served in a memory mug to all the boys and girls. Complimentary vouchers will be given out to families to get a memorable Christmas photo with Santa.
