The Grapevine Vintage Railroad offers a variety of seasonal and special train experiences throughout the year.
Please note: The Grapevine to the Historic Stockyards round trip train ride has assigned seating. The only way to ensure that everyone in your group can sit together on the train is to make one reservation for your entire group.
If you are looking to make reservations on the same day, Grapevine Train reservations can only be made in person at the Grapevine Depot. Same day phone reservations or online purchases cannot be made. Advance online reservations end at 11:59 p.m. the day prior.
Same day ticket sales are subject to walk up availability only. For round trip tickets from Grapevine to the Historic Stockyards, go to the Grapevine Depot at 705 S. Main Street. For the Trinity River ride, which originates in the Historic Stockyards, please go to the ticket booth at Stockyards Station located at 130 E. Exchange Avenue in the Historic Stockyards.

The 1896 steam locomotive, runs on the first Saturday of each month for the Grapevine Fun Train and 1 p.m. round-trip to the Historic Stockyards. Please call for details 817-410-3185, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Note: Due to Federal regulation, children 13 months and older must have their own seat. Children 12 months and under may receive a free lap Grapevine Train ticket and must be held in the arms of an adult. Infants are not allowed to stay in their carriers while on board the train. Due to mechanical requirements, engine and equipment changes may occur without notice. The 1896 steam locomotive, "Puffy," is currently out of service until it has completed its 15 year inspection.. The 1953 diesel locomotive, "Vinny," is used for the regularly scheduled weekly service.
