#64c - Donald Schoolhouse Museum
The Donald Schoolhouse Museum tells the story of public education on the Grape Vine Prairie, beginning with a log schoolhouse through the development of the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District. The museum is located inside a ca. 1900 Donald School building originally located north of Grapevine. It was moved into town and years later became the property of Faith Christian School. In this museum, school days of yesterday come to life, while students work in vintage desks and use slates to learn their three Rs: Reading, wRiting, and arithmetic.
