#64d - Grapevine Historical Museum

This ca. 1970s building features a new façade creating a replica of the 1940 Grapevine Ice Company building, formerly located on Northwest Highway one block west of Main St. Grapevine Ice Company provided manufactured ice to Grapevine area businesses and citizens for over 30 years. In 1974, the building was demolished, but historic photographs enabled the façade to be recreated. This building is the new home of the Grapevine Historical Museum, which features dinosaur footprints, pioneer tools, household items, toys, uniforms, wedding gowns and a “Grapevine attic” of interesting treasures.
