Grapevine's Palace Theatre to Host 2nd Annual Taking Care of Mother Earth Expo on April 20

Grapevine, Texas (March 27, 2012) - On Friday, April 20, Grapevine's Historic Palace Theatre will be the backdrop for the 2nd Annual Taking Care of Mother Earth Expo from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Attendees to this year's event will also want to make plans to attend the Earth Day Expo and Litter Free Lunch & Learn and Expo Tour 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Exhibitors will be providing information and engaging demonstrations on the green initiatives happening in the community.

During the Litter Free Lunch & Learn, guest speaker Dean Minchillo, conservation program manager, Tarrant Regional Water District, will discuss tips and methods for conserving water at home.

Schedule of Events:
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Lunch & Learn
12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m.: Expo Tour
1 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Taking Care of Mother Earth Expo
2 p.m. - 3 p.m.: Educational Demos
4 p.m.: Arbor Day Tree Dedication

The Taking Care of Mother Expo is presented by Allied Waste Services, Chick-fil-A and Natural Awakenings Dallas Metroplex Edition. Additional partners include Nash Farm, Keep Grapevine Beautiful, Grapevine Environmental Services and Grapevine Botanical Gardens.
