A PASSPORT to a LEGO® world of color, creativity and fun, the US's second LEGOLAND® Discovery Center is set to open in Grapevine, North Texas in Spring 2011.

The unique, indoor attraction featuring over two million LEGO® bricks will open in Grapevine Mills and is the perfect attraction for kids aged three to 12 years and their family - LEGOLAND® Discovery Center is like walking into a giant box of LEGO® bricks. What will you discover?

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center will be made up of a series of interactive features to immerse kids in the joy of LEGO® play and build. From interactive games to a recreation of Dallas Fort Worth and beyond iconic buildings, it will provide education and fun for the ultimate LEGO® simulation - no matter how old you are!

On entering LEGOLAND® Discovery Center, you will be taken on a LEGO® Factory Tour, which will reveal the secrets of how the famous bricks are made. Some components of the machinery will also be missing and will require help of children to create your very own LEGO® brick to take home.

A fantastic MINILAND will include all of the iconic landmarks from Dallas Fort Worth and beyond, including Grapevine's Main Street, the downtown areas of Dallas and Fort Worth as well as other famous sights from the wider region.

On Kingdom Quest, an interactive LEGO® laser ride, you will battle with trolls and skeletons to free the beautiful princess or feel part of the story in the 4D cinema where the wind will rush around your feet and LEGO® bricks will fly around your heads.

The master model builder, who will be interviewed for the job by children from the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, will teach all visitors top tips at to how to build the best models. Celebrations can be made even more memorable in one of the special party rooms, which can be personally themed for the party.

Other features of the attraction include a LEGO® Racers Build and Test track, LEGO® Princess Palace especially for the girls, a DUPLO® area for younger guests and a soft play section.

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center will involve just one entry fee, with all attractions included in the cost and tickets will be on sale from late 2010.
