CELEBRATE YOUR SPRING BREAK IN GRAPEVINE

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (February 22, 2013) - Looking for fun things to do with your family this Spring Break? Grapevine is the place to be for a basket full of spring happenings and fun this holiday.
Start the week with Spring Fling on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. Beginning March 11 through March 15, enjoy fun and games on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad's daily 1 p.m. departure to the Fort Worth Stockyards, arriving at approximately 2:30 p.m. The return trip to Grapevine departs the Stockyards at 4:15 p.m., and returns at approximately 5:45 p.m. Regular routes to the Fort Worth Stockyards and the Fort Worth Stockyards Fun Train will also take place March 9, 10, 16 and 17. On March 11 - 15, build up tons of fun at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center's second annual "Spring Brick." Each day during Spring Brick, LEGOLAND Discovery Center will offer exciting themed builds at 11 a.m, 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Don't miss the exciting attraction-wide scavenger hunts, summer camp sign ups and the LEGO® Free Build Area. Spring Brick hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. (last admission at 6 p.m.); Saturday, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. (last admission at 7 p.m.) and Sunday, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. (last admission at 4 p.m.). Spend the evening of Friday, March 15 at Grapevine's Nash Farm for Tales at Twilight. Presented by the Tarrant Area Guild of Storytellers from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., guests will hear stories from around the world. Bring a chair and blanket and refreshments if you like. The storytellers will speak from the yard of the Nash Farmhouse. Free. 626 Ball St.
Also on March 15, bring the family to see The Karate Kid starring Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita at Grapevine's Historic Palace Theatre. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are just $5 per person. While you're in Grapevine, make sure to check out the 127-foot high Grapevine Glockenspiel Clock Tower featuring the Would-Be Train Robbers Nat Barrett and Willy Majors. Located 75-feet in the air, these two larger-than-life, 9-foot tall Glockenspiel characters emerge each day shortly before the stroke of noon and 6 p.m. to attempt the perfect heist and learn that crime just doesn't pay!
