Grapevine Opry veteran Lani Stacy and Dream Big Productions have assumed the role of show producer after the retirement of the Grapevine Opry's Rocky Gribble in December. Stacy, who started performing with the Grapevine Opry at the age of 9, has been performing for more than 26 years. She has been a featured performer at the State Fair of Texas and Six Flags Over Texas. Her career has also included opening for many of the biggest acts in country music including Reba McEntire, Mark Chestnut, Jo Dee Messina, Bryan White, Joe Diffie and Shenandoah, just to name a few.
"The Grapevine Opry Show's" Branson-style, high-energy format will feature country music favorites as well as hits from the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. The professional cast will anchor each show and local talent will also be featured, as well as comedy performances and audience participation. Shows will take place most Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. at Grapevine's Historic Palace Theatre, 300 S. Main St. For a complete schedule, visit www.GrapevineOpryShow.com.
"Dream Big Productions is excited and honored to continue the tradition of the established and historic family entertainment known the world over as the Grapevine Opry," said Stacy. "With a renewed vision for the future, we intend to continue providing our community the absolute best entertainment value in Dallas/Fort Worth."
