GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (March 5, 2020) – Bring the entire family to Grapevine for relaxation, adventure and family fun this Spring Break! Enjoy activities such as train excursions, attractions, classic movies and much more.
Take a Spring Break Train excursion, March 9-13, on board the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. These roundtrip excursions travel along the Historic Cotton Belt Route to the Fort Worth Stockyards. Excursions depart promptly at 1:20 p.m. with check-in and boarding beginning at 12:50 p.m. Enjoy a special One-Hour Excursion, Wednesday, March 11. Boarding starts at 9:50 a.m. and departs promptly at 10:20 a.m. This train does not go to the Fort Worth Stockyards. For weekend train excursions, please visit GVRR.com for details.
Catch a matinee at the Palace Theatre, March 9-13, during their Spring Break Movie event. All films will be shown at 11 a.m. daily. Tickets are $4 per person.

Explore the Historic Cotton Belt Railroad District and participate in hands-on heritage activities. Make your own 19th century brass luggage tag at Millican Blacksmith Shop; make a cookie cutter at the Grapevine Tin Shop at the Bragg House; and design your own railroad bandana at the Cotton Belt Route Section Foreman House. Activities will take place, March 7-15, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Prices vary per activity.
Join the Farmhands at Nash Farm for different daily activities such as fun and games with tops and marbles; carpentry and gardening with wooden toy chests and corn husk dolls; a cowboy theme with bandana making, leatherwork and rope making; baking biscuits and make a buzz saw toy; learning about sheep and more. These activities will take place March 7-15, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Prices vary per activity.
Go back in time this Spring Break at the Settlement to City Museums and experience skills and trades of early Grapevine. Learn how to print on an 1881 Chandler & Price printing press at the Keeling House, March 7-15, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
