Co-Chairs for the 34th Annual GrapeFest – A Texas Wine Experience, presented by Bank of the West, Steve and Maggie Haley, are proud to announce the GrapeFest Tennis Classic, a family-friendly event produced by TNT Tennis, will welcome junior and adult players to compete in a two-day tournament on September 19 and 20. Although the 34th Annual GrapeFest was canceled in early July, the GrapeFest Tennis Classic along with other socially-distanced events will move forward.

The 2020 GrapeFest Tennis Classic will feature various draws including Open Singles and Doubles prize money events, Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles, and Boys’ and Girls’ Singles and Doubles by age group and levels. TNT Tennis will award $4,000 in total prize money for the Open Singles and Doubles events. Matches will take place at various tennis facilities, including Dove Park, Grapevine High School and Colleyville Heritage High School from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 19 with most finals being held Sunday, September 20.

“We are very excited to host the GrapeFest Tennis Classic this year and can’t wait to welcome all players to this special tournament in late September,” said TNT Marketing Director Tara Robbins. “Many members of the community look forward to this tournament each year and we think that the weekend will be an enjoyable one for all who play and attend.”

The entry fee for the adult and junior tournaments are $30 per player for singles and $18 per player for doubles. The prize money events are $55 per player for singles and $30 per player for doubles. Entry fee includes tournament participation and an official GrapeFest Tennis Classic t-shirt.  Participants can register at TNTtennis.net, MYUTR.com, or USTA.com.
