"Art of the Egg" will feature beautiful pieces of painted porcelain with an egg and springtime theme. Displaying many painted pieces by artists from all over the world, the International Porcelain Artists and Teachers Association present a unique exhibition that will inspire you. The artistry of the porcelain process will be detailed and will encourage visitors to paint their own piece of china.
The exhibition is a collection of works by the International Porcelain Artists and Teachers organization. IPAT was founded in 1958 in Dallas, Texas by a small group of porcelain art teachers. Since that time, the organization has been instrumental in stimulating international interest and appreciation for porcelain art.
The "Art of the Egg" exhibition is free and will be open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. The Grand Gallery is located in the Grapevine CVB Headquarters and Museum Complex at 636 S. Main St. As part of the exhibit, guests are encouraged to attend the Food For Thought Gallery Talk on Wednesday, March 26.
