Grapevine's Main St. entertainment district is fortunate to have the brilliantly restored Palace Arts Theatre, which includes the fully restored Palace and Lancaster Theatres. The Palace Theatre, built in 1940, houses the Grapevine Opry - one of the best Country and Western music reviews this side of Nashville. Some current Grapevine Opry "alumni" include LeAnn Rimes, Miranda Lambert and Keith Anderson. The Palace and Lancaster Theatres are also home to a number of different performing arts groups and anchor Historic Downtown Grapevine's bustling entertainment scene, which includes live music on evenings and weekends.

Cross Timbers Winery Tasting Room, in the historic Dorris/Brock farmstead at 805 N. Main, opened in April 2001. Su Vino Winery, a full-service state-of-the-art custom winemaking establishment, opened in February 2003 at 120 S. Main St. Located in Grapevine's downtown historic district, D'Vine Wine, promotes a cozy Tuscan atmosphere in a historic building formerly used as Grapevine's City Hall. Come in and enjoy wine by the taste, by the bottle or by making it yourself. D'Vine Wine is located at 409 S. Main St. And the newest addition to Grapevine's collection of wineries is Farina's Winery, located at 420 S. Main St. in the Grapevine Historic District, is originally the home of Tate's Hardware. Farina's Winery features its own wines as well as a selection from around the world.

Grapevine's festivals and events draw visitors from around the globe. In April, the New Vintage Wine Trail highlights the new vintage release from Grapevine's wineries. In May, Kickoff your summer and celebrate the Great Outdoors with Main Street Days - An Outdoor Adventure. GrapeFest, the largest wine festival in the Southwest, is held in September. Step back in time to the nineteenth century on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad's excursion train pulled by an 1896 steam locomotive, No. 2248, manufactured at the Cooke Locomotive Works in Paterson, NJ. The Grapevine Vintage Railroad has four enclosed circa 1925 passenger coaches, and two circa 1927 open-air patio cars/touring coaches. The Grapevine Vintage Railroad makes round-trip excursions from Grapevine's Cotton Belt Railroad Depot to Fort Worth's Historic Stockyards Station.
