POUR ON THE FUN WITH A CRAFT BREW EXPERIENCE AT GRAPEVINE’S 33RD ANNUAL MAIN STREET FEST

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (April 27, 2017) – Pour on the fun at Grapevine’s 33rd Annual Main Street Fest - A Craft Brew Experience, presented by Bank of the West, May 19, 20 and 21. Purchase your tickets now for the most exciting family-friendly Craft Brew festival in North Texas.

The 33rd Annual Main Street Fest coincides with American Craft Beer Week and is the perfect way to celebrate a Texas spring weekend. Here are just a few of the fun elements of the 33rd Annual Main Street Fest.

Buy your tickets now for the Craft Brew Experience, sponsored by Gaylord Texan Resort. Sample eight 3-ounce craft brew pours produced by national, Texas and local breweries in a souvenir Belgian-style tasting glass. Additional tastings are available for purchase. Brewery representatives will be on hand in the Craft Brew Experience. Throughout the weekend, a series of special, limited release craft brews will be offered by select breweries. And as a special treat, three Sierra Nevada Craft Brews not currently available in Texas and one unique brew debuting in Fall 2017 will be available for tasting. Tickets for the Craft Brew Experience are $15 in advance or $18 at the festival. Ticket prices do not include festival admission.

Hear live music on multiple stages throughout Main Street Fest. Stages include the Audi Grapevine Main Stage, the Sierra Nevada Gazebo Stage and the Palace Theatre stage. Confirmed performers include Sundance Head, Season 11 winner of NBC’s “The Voice,” Freedom – The George Michael Tribute Band and more. Returning this year is the 4th Annual DFW ICON vocal competition, presented by JG Entertainment. DFW ICON will open the microphone to talented singers between the ages of 7 to 30 years old. Winner packages exceed $20,000 in prizes including recording with award winning producers, artist branding, social media branding, photo shoots, image consulting, scholarships and more.

It’s always family fun time at Main Street Fest! Check out the KidZone, featuring returning favorites including the SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium touch pool, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Junior Builder Competition, Nash Farm’s interactive games, activities and more. All new for 2017 will be a special exhibit of farm animals from Grapevine’s historic Nash Farm, including the Farm’s new baby lambs.  Win some special prizes at the Carnival games or hop on an amusement ride along the Midway. Love a good deal? Purchase the Unlimited Carnival Ride Passes for $25 in advance or $30 at the festival on Friday from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Carnival and Midway are located at the corner of Main and Wall Streets. There will also be a selection of children’s rides located at the south end of the festival in the Cotton Belt Railroad District.

Main Street Fest is putting the pedal to the metal and celebrating the 200th anniversary of the bicycle. Festival guests can register to win a $500 gift certificate to Grapevine Bike Center. Must be 18 years or older to win. A special tricycle area will be available for children to ride during the festival. Please note, no bicycles will be allowed to be brought onto festival grounds.

Delicious festival dishes await! Taste the heavenly festival favorites such as corn dogs, turkey legs, nachos and funnel cakes. Hear the sizzle of the spicy, handmade Asian dumplings, German-style schnitzel and bratwurst. And tune up your sweet tooth for special treats including cotton candy, handmade toffee, candy coated apples, root beer floats and more.

Shop along Historic Main Street at vendors offering unique and specialty products available during Main Street Fest. Looking for handcrafted jewelry, pottery or home accents? What about a wood and antler bottle stopper? Searching for the perfect gourmet pet treat? You’ll find all of these unique products and more at Main Street Fest. During the festival, the locally-owned shops, galleries, restaurants, jewelry stores, boutiques and more lining Main Street will be open.

The 33rd Annual Main Street Fest opens Friday, May 19 at 10 a.m. and admission is free until 5 p.m. Festival hours are Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20, 10 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 21, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.  After 5 p.m. on Friday, adults are $7 and children 6 – 12 and     seniors are $5. Weekend passes are $15. Souvenir weekend passes are $20. Complimentary shuttles run continuously from designated parking lots.
