More about these wine regions:

Wineries in the Wachau Valley in Krems, Austria, offer a traditional taste shaped by the region's cooler climate and diverse soils. With an elevation of 228 meters, the Atlantic air brings cold winters and hot, dry summers. It produces wines like Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, known for their crisp acidity and mineral notes.

Wines from the Barossa Valley, Australia feature bold, fruit-forward flavors. Barossa Valley, at 372 meters above sea level, has a Mediterranean climate, but its transverse valleys and sloping hills create a wide range of microclimates. Temperatures range from very warm on the valley floors to progressively cooler at the higher altitudes making for excellent Shiraz and Grenache.
