Treat yourself to Halloween fun throughout Grapevine this October at spooktacular seasonal events.

Pups can partake in a scary good time at the 21st Annual Pug-O-Ween on Sunday, October 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 S. Main St. Walk in the Pug Parade, compete in the pet costume contest, dine on delicious fare from food trucks and shop at local vendors. All proceeds from the event benefit the DFW Pug Rescue Club, the largest pug rescue organization in the U.S.


Hear haunting tales of goblins and ghouls at Bewitched by the Barn on Saturday, October 21 at Grapevine’s historic Nash Farm, 626 Ball St. Enjoy a night filled with popcorn, warm cider and stories that get spookier as the night progresses. This free event will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets for seating. 


On Friday, October 27, grab your friends and ride the Witches Brew Train Excursion aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad adorned in your Halloween costume. Enjoy two glasses of Texas craft brew in a souvenir mug and Italian fare catered by Wise Guys Pizzeria. Specifically for guests ages 21 and up, the event features special entertainment and tickets are $35 per person. The train boards at 6:30 p.m. and departs at 7 p.m., returning to Grapevine at 9 p.m. 


Those looking to uncover the paranormal won’t want to miss the Night Watchman’s Ghost Tour that takes place most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays during the month of October. The 90-minute walking ghost tour begins at Grape Vine Springs Winery at 7 p.m. Uncover who robbed the bank on Main Street in 1932, which winery is haunted and more eerie history from Grapevine’s past. After the tour, enjoy a glass of wine included in the tour. Tickets range from $17-20 per person. Tickets can be purchased at www.GrapevineSpringsWinery.com.


Sip and savor along Grapevine’s Urban Wine Trail at the Hallowine Trail on Saturday, October 28 or Sunday, October 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wear your best costume and enjoy three wine tastings in a souvenir glass and a food pairing at eight participating winery tasting rooms. Participating winery tasting rooms include Cross Timbers Winery, Homestead Winery, Su Vino Winery, Grape Vine Springs Winery, Sloan & Williams, Umbra, Messina Hof Grapevine Winery and Wine Fusion Winery. Guests 21 and up can partake in the festivities and tickets are $50 per person in advance or $55 at the event. Tickets can be purchased at www.GrapevineWineryTrail.com.


Enjoy family-friendly festivities on the Trick or Treat Train aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad on Saturday, October 28. Riders will enjoy tons of candy on this one-hour excursion. Don’t forget to wear your Halloween costume! The Trick or Treat Train will take place at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and tickets are $10 per adult and $8 per child. The train is located at 705 S. Main St. and boards 30 minutes prior to departure. These excursions do not travel to the Fort Worth Stockyards.
