Located in the Tower Gallery inside the Grapevine Visitors Center at 636 S. Main Street, this 1,000 square-foot working model railroad display will wow young minds and curious older minds alike.
The exhibit showcases the fascinating ways in which the railroad has impacted the growth of Grapevine from a humble farming community to a world-class destiation. Visitors can engage with fascinating stories from the early days of the steam rail, to the current operations of the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, to the future of D/FW transportation with the under-construction TEXRail project.
Younger visitors can play in the train yard featuring a replica of the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, and can also build a layout of their own with a one-of-a-kind wooden train table.
Admission is free, and parking is free! Exhibit is on dispaly daily through September 16. Please note the Tower Gallery may be closed on certain holidays during the summer. Please call to verify hours.
