The Southwest Bluegrass Club (SWBGC) was formed in 1974 by Tom Uhr and Loyd Hinch of the Shady Grove Ramblers, as a non-profit 501 3C organization to promote and educate the public about Bluegrass music. The SWBGC has held true to the original vision, sponsoring many educational programs and offering youth scholarships and grants to aspiring young musicians. In addition, the SWBGC and its members have participated in community outreach programs at schools, nursing homes and public events. The SWBGC has held its monthly meetings in Grapevine, Texas since 1982 and is always free and open to the public. What's Nearby
