Wine & Culture Itinerary

Day 1

  • Create your own blown-glass Christmas ornament in the Christmas Capital of Texas®, at Vetro Glass Blowing Studio & Gallery, as well as your own jewelry or artwork at Holder Dane Gallery & Art Studios.

  • Experience the Grapevine Glockenspiel, the only one in North America, featuring the Would-Be Train Robbers, Nat Barrett and Willy Majors. Watch an exciting interaction between larger- than-life mechanical figures as they emerge from the clock tower every day at 10 a.m., Noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

  • Explore the Grapevine Public Art Trail, featuring more than a dozen pieces of public art covering approximately six blocks throughout Historic Downtown Grapevine.

  • After dinner, stroll Main Street and enjoy a variety of live music options.

Day 2

  • Kick off the morning with a visit to Giddens Gallery of Fine Art, featuring works by more than 20 emerging and internationally acclaimed artists.

  • Plan a stop into the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau to view their two gallery spaces, which host rotating exhibits year-round.

  • Enjoy a delicious Italian lunch at Farina’s Winery & Café. Antique collectors and art enthusiasts alike will excite in being surrounded by vintage treasures and furniture from around the world.

  • Tonight, create your own masterpiece on canvas at Painting with a Twist. Your art instructor will provide you with step-by-step instructions to help everyone create their own pièce de résistance. (Feel free to bring wine from any of Grapevine’s winery tasting rooms, as well as your own food. Restaurants with boxed meals may be recommended).
