Grapevine Yoga & Wellness Day

Kick off the official start of summer at Grapevine Yoga & Wellness Day with free back-to-back fitness classes, followed by wellness talks by local experts. Enjoy morning yoga and fitness classes hosted in partnership with Inspire Yoga, Bikram Yoga North Texas and others.  After your workout, cool down at the Palace Theatre with short, educational talks hosted by local wellness and life coaching experts.

Complete your wellness day by stopping by the open-air Grapevine Farmers and Artisan Market at the Town Square Gazebo for fresh Texas produce, baked goods, handcrafted and Texas-made items from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. or have lunch at one of the great bistros and cafés along Main Street.

Bikram Yoga class with Stacey Stier from Bikram Yoga North Texas. Stier has been practicing Bikram Yoga since the winter of 2000 and graduated teacher training from Bikram Yoga headquarters in Los Angeles, California in spring of 2001. She is certified to teach Bikram 60, 90 and Silent, Inferno Hot Pilates, Iron Yogi, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Bikram Yoga North Texas was established in 2002 and is independently owned and operated. They are not a Bikram franchisee nor financially obligated to Bikram Yoga Inc. headquarters. Bikram Yoga is challenging, energizing, fun, and worth every drop of sweat.

Margaret Richter will be leading Yin Yoga, which is designed to lengthen muscles, heal joints, release scar tissue and fascia. Margaret has been practicing at Bikram Yoga North Texas since 2002 and became a Certified Instructor in 2017. She is certified to lead Bikram Yoga, Yin Yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates.

Terri Hagar Scherer has a long history of commitment to the wellness of the Grapevine community. Scherer owned The Foodseller, the first health food restaurant and store in Grapevine, opened the Dance Workshop and added on the Grapevine Children’s Theatre and School after moving to Main Street in 1980. For 30 years, Scherer contributed to bringing love of the arts and became a founding member of the Runway Theatre and remains an active member of the DFW performing arts scene as an actor, director, and producer. Scherer is a certified holistic life coach and owner of EarthWind & Zen Life Design, a mindfulness-based transformational coaching practice.
