The train to the Stockyards operates Saturday and Sunday most weekends throughout the year. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad also operates on Fridays.
The train departs Grapevine at 1 p.m. and arrives in the Stockyards at approximately 2:30 p.m. The return trip departs the Stockyards at 4:15 p.m. and arrives in Grapevine at approximately 5:45 p.m.
Roundtrip tickets in the First Class enclosed heated and air conditioned coaches are: $28 for adults and $18 for children 13 months - 12 years old. Roundtrip tickets in the Touring class coaches are $20 for adults $20 and $10 for children 13 months - 12 years old. Children under 12 months ride free on the parent lap. Tickets can be purchased online at www.gvrr.com or at the depot on the day of departure located at 705 S. Main St. between the hours of 11a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Trinity River Trip is scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Memorial Day to Labor Day to and departs the Stockyards at 2:45 p.m. for an approximately one hour trip. Round trip tickets are $15 for first class seating and $10 for touring class Children 12 months and under ride free on the parents lap. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Stockyards Depot located 130 E. Exchange Ave. Fort Worth , Texas.
The Grapevine fun trains are a one hour excursion departing Grapevine on Fridays at 10 a.m. during the months of June and July and, on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. during the months of February, March, April, May, September, October and November. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children ages 13 months - 12 years old. Children 12 months and under ride free on the parent's lap. Seating is first come-first served.

Note: Due to mechanical requirements, engine and equipment changes may occur without notice. The 1896 steam locomotive, "Puffy," is in service on the first Saturday of most months throughout the year, as well as specially advertised excursions. The 1953 diesel locomotive, "Vinny," is used for the regularly scheduled weekly service.
