Children 12 months and under may receive a free lap ticket and must be held in the arms of an adult. Infants are not allowed to stay in their carriers while on board the train. Due to mechanical requirements, engine and equipment changes may occur without notice. The 1896 steam locomotive, "Puffy," is in service on the first Saturday of most months throughout the year, as well as specially advertised excursions. The 1953 diesel locomotive, "Vinny," is used for the regularly scheduled weekly service.
