The Grapevine Vintage Railroad departs promptly at the assigned departure times. Boarding for the 1 p.m. excursion is 12:30 p.m. The Grapevine Fun Train boards at 9:30 a.m. The Stockyard Trinity River Ride boards at 2:30 and the return excursion from the Stockyards to Grapevine boards at 4:05 p.m . Same day ticket sales are subject to walk up availability only. For round trip tickets from Grapevine to the Historic Stockyards, go to the Grapevine Depot at 705 S. Main Street. For the Trinity River ride, which originates in the Historic Stockyards, please go to the ticket booth at Stockyards Station located at 130 E. Exchange Avenue in the Historic Stockyards.

Note: Due to Federal regulation, children 13 months and older must have their own seat. Children 12 months and under may receive a free lap ticket and must be held in the arms of an adult. Infants are not allowed to stay in their carriers while on board the train. Due to mechanical requirements, engine and equipment changes may occur without notice. The 1896 steam locomotive, "Puffy," is currently out of service until it has completed its 15 year inspection. The 1953 diesel locomotive, "Vinny," is used for the regularly scheduled weekly service.
