GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (February 22, 2024) – Celebrate history and tradition at Grapevine’s 32nd Annual New Vintage Wineries & Galleries Trail, presented by Park Place Lexus and Land Rover Grapevine on Saturday, April 13.
The day starts with a centuries-old European tradition of the Blessing of the Vines and Procession on Peace Plaza at Grapevine Main Station starting at 10:30 a.m. Be part of the procession around Peace Plaza featuring Mariachis, Bacchus and Ariadne, the St. Urbanis statue and a 100-pound cluster of grapes. The procession concludes with the Blessing of the Vines to ensure a bountiful Texas harvest for 2024. Complimentary Messina Hof Viognier wine immediately follows the blessing so you can toast the day and don’t miss your chance to take a picture with Miss Grapevine, a 1929 Chevy grape-crushing truck from the prohibition era, one of only two left in existence. The first 100 people will also get a blessed vine to take home to start their own mini-vineyard.
Ticket holders for the New Vintage Wineries and Galleries Trail will receive a souvenir wine glass and passport which will guide them through Historic Main Street. Enjoy tastings of new-release wines and light bites at seven of Grapevine’s winery tasting rooms. Discover hidden gems at its many art galleries and working artist studios.
Historic Main Street will be bustling with live music in the shade at Liberty Park Plaza complete with artisanal cheese & meat vendors and live painting demonstrations! Enjoy more artisans and vendors as the Grapevine Market holds its season debut at the Town Square Gazebo. The Grapevine Garden Club will also hold its annual Plant Sale at the Botanical Gardens.
