Hidden Gems in Grapevine: Speakeasies & Local Favorites

Grapevine, a Vintage Texas destination located between Dallas and Fort Worth, is known for its historic charm and lively Historic Main Street. But beyond the iconic attractions lie many hidden gems that locals love and visitors are thrilled to discover. Here are a few off-the-beaten-path spots to explore next time you're in Grapevine:

Magnum Speakeasy at Hotel Vin - Enter through a vintage phone booth and you’ll find a swanky, Prohibition-style bar with a seasonally curated cocktail menu. Expect a cozy atmosphere filled with eclectic Texas décor and rare, handcrafted spirits.

Cave Society at Hotel Vin - Beneath the hotel is a luxurious underground wine lounge that caters to true wine aficionados. With rare global wines, an intimate cave-like setting and moody ambient music, it’s a Grapevine wine experience you won’t find anywhere else.

214 at Gaylord Texan Resort - This underground cocktail bar boasts a luxurious speakeasy vibe, complete with live music and craft cocktails. Look for the discreet “214” sign near Texan Station, head down the stairs and if the blue light is on, the bartenders are in.

Prime Materia at Meow Wolf: The Real Unreal - Technology, storytelling and mixology all come together at Prime Materia all within a mind-bending immersive art experience. This new addition to Meow Wolf Grapevine will be featuring lore-infused elixirs, unique snacks and a cast of quirky characters. It is set to open in late June.

Three Barrels Beer Garden - Connected to the popular Ferrari’s Italian Villa & Chop House, Three Barrels Beer Garden is a local favorite, perfect for relaxing with friends. The spacious patio offers plenty of seating, TVs for game day, tasty eats, cold drinks and a laid-back, dog-friendly vibe.

Bonnie & Clyde’s Hideout  - Tucked inside the Hilton DFW Lakes, Bonnie & Clyde’s Hideout has been serving up elevated comfort food, local brews and seasonal cocktails since 2002, all with a fresh new vibe following its 2024 remodel. Drawing inspiration from Texas roots and filled with Bonnie and Clyde artifacts like mug shots, wanted posters and vintage news clippings, it’s a fun spot to sip and snack.
