He owns everything and hates everyone and on Christmas Eve he’s decided now is the time to spread his own wicked brand of Christmas cheer. It appears he’s planning on closing the orphanage, buying out the bordello, firing his only employee, and giving Marshal Jim Courtright a headache.

Christmas Concerts and Live performances - With eight diverse Christmas programs you can experience a little of everything. The Palace Arts Center is proud to welcome back The Petersens as they sleigh ride back into Grapevine with their bluegrass holiday concert. Returning favorites also include Kraig Parker as Elvis, comedian William Lee Martin with a Christmas stand up spectacular and Ricki Derek's Merry Little Christmas Show. New soon-to-be favorites include North Central Ballet with Nutcracker -Short and Sweet, Will Hearn's Grand Ol' Christmas Show with Blue Water Highway for a one-of-a-king musical variety show and the "kings of cool"- Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin will bring back the old school favorites with a tribute show.

Classic Christmas Movies - Watch a classic Christmas movie in a historic theater downtown! See the experience of George Bailey in "It's A Wonderful Life" and after the movie, stroll Main Street and experience Grapevine's version of Bedford Falls.

Classic Christmas Cartoons & Crafts - Bring the little ones to watch some of the best classic Christmas cartoons like Frosty the Snowman and A Year Without Santa while they make fun Christmas crafts.
 

Parade of Lights

Historic Downtown Grapevine

First executed in 1979, the Parade of Lights features more than 100 lighted floats and marching bands. Look for Santa Claus on the last float! Come early to claim your spot along Historic Main Street to watch this exciting holiday event. Route: Northwest Highway at Main Street, Heading South on Main Street, to Dallas Road or Highway 114.

IPAT Museum Holidaze on Franklin Street

December 2 - 4 from 1 - 8 p.m.
Historic Downtown Grapevine

IPAT Museum (International Porcelain Artists and Teachers) will be holding a "Holidaze on Franklin Street" open house for their newly remodeled museum on Franklin Street. The free event will include educational demonstrations and working with and painting on porcelain. Exhibits will include the history and relevance of porcelain throughout the centuries in Asia and Europe and the Americas from 1800 AD forward. They will offer a free porcelain bead necklace or lanyard to children accompanied by their parents.
 

Story Time With Santa

Children will gather around Santa to hear some of his favorite stories and songs. After Story Time, each family will get the opportunity to take pictures with Santa. The Nutcracker in the Park

Enjoy a floating festival of lights with the Twinkle Light Boat Parade on Lake Grapevine  This lighted boat parade, filled with boats decorated for the holidays, starts at Twin Coves Marina and picks up entries at each marina, Scott’s Landing and Silver Lake, as it circles the lake. The parade is visible from the shores of Lake Grapevine. December 4, begins at 5:30 p.m. Views: Oak Grove Park and Katie Woods great viewing areas.

On Saturday, December 4 and Sunday, December 5, world-renowned silhouette artist Lauren Muney of Silhouettes By Hand will hand cut a silhouette of you or a loved one. The coaches will feature Christmas decorations throughout that will put you in a great holiday mood!

Note: these are not the "North Pole Express" trains and will not feature Santa or Mrs. Claus. Train returns to Grapevine between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m.
