The Gaylord Texan Resort doesn’t hold back when it comes to celebrating Christmas. Lone Star Christmas at Gaylord Texan transforms the property with 1.5 million holiday lights, lavish decor including 12,000 ornaments, a 52-foot rotating Christmas tree, magical miniature train sets, and a life-size gingerbread house (yes, it's made of real gingerbread). A team of artists spend the entire year planning, designing and implementing the Christmas decorations around the resort. There’s also stilt walkers, singing cowboys, Santa and Mrs. Claus, balloon artists and fun entertainment around every bend. Roving photographers are available to capture holiday memories such as a visit with Santa.
