Golden Jubilee Community Picnic
Grapevine’s Honorable Mayor William D. Tate will mark 50 years in office on May 17, 2026 – becoming the longest-serving mayor in Texas history and one of the longest serving in the United States of America.
To mark the actual day of Mayor Tate’s 50 years of service, everyone receives free admission to Main Street Fest on Sunday before 1:30 p.m., and there is a FREE community picnic, along with music and international cultural entertainment performances.
The following Main Street restaurants will generously offer complimentary picnic lunch boxes to celebrate Mayor Tate's Golden Jubilee (While supplies last. Available on a first come, first served basis):
- AJ's on Main
- Big Fish Seafood Grill & Bar
- Farina's Winery & Cafe
- Jakes Burgers & Beer --- Double Cheeseburger and crinkle chips or a gluten-free Grilled Chicken Sandwich and a side salad.
- Main Street Bistro --- Ham, Turkey, Chicken Salad or Tomato Mozzeralla sandwich and a bag of sea salt chips, a side of potato salad and a homemade cookie.
- Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza
- Napoli's Italian Kitchen
- PIAF Kitchen + Wine + Bar --- Marinated Chicken and Hummus wrap or Falafel and Hummus wrap with chips and tzatziki, a Taboule salad and a Baklava.
- Tolbert's Chili Parlor
- Wine Fusion
- Weinberger's Deli
After you pick up your picnic lunch box, please bring it to the Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Main Stage and join the festivities of music and international cultural entertainment performances. Complimentary picnic lunches provided by Walmart and Sam’s Club will also be served at the Main Stage.
