Twinkle Light Boat Parade on Lake Grapevine: Enjoy a floating festival of lights with the Twinkle Light Boat Parade on Lake Grapevine. This lighted boat parade, filled with boats decorated for the holidays, starts at Twin Coves Marina and picks up entries at each marina, Scott’s Landing and Silver Lake, as it circles the lake. Texas Star Dinner Theater Presents A Cold-Hearted Christmas: ‘Tis just before Christmas and all about town, E.B. Neazer Enterprises is stirring and shutting everyone down. It appears E.B. Elves on the Run 5k: Don your favorite elf costume or Christmas gear and head out for the 5th Annual Elves on the Run, 5K/ Kids Run, presented by Brinker. This family-friendly event takes place on December 4 starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Oak Grove Park – Trawick Pavilion (2700 Darren G. Medlin Trail). Meet Santa at the finish line! It’s merrier in Grapevine! Grapevine offers 40 days of Christmas with more than 1,400 events and activities. Grapevine was officially declared the Christmas Capital of Texas by the State of Texas Senate with Proclamation No. 556 in 2009, signed by Senator Jane Nelson. City staff, along with volunteer citizens and members of the Chamber of Commerce generously provided their time to help install millions of lights and Christmas decorations throughout the city.
