When is Santa's North Pole Express?

Are tickets to Grapevine's Santa's North Pole Express refundable?
All tickets for Grapevine's North Pole Express® train excursions are non-refundable. Missed trains will not be refunded and tickets may only be redeemed for the day and time of your reserved train excursion.
Where is Santa's North Pole Express train excursion located?
North Pole Express® is located at the Grapevine Christmas Market inside the Cotton Belt Railroad Historic District (705 S. Main St., Grapevine, TX 76051)

How early should I arrive for my Santa's North Pole Express excursion?
Please arrive at the Grapevine Christmas Market no less than 20 minutes prior to the time listed on your ticket for check-in. Make sure you arrive at least an hour early to allow time for parking and walking to check in during the week. Main Street will be closed to traffic on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays so allow yourself extra time on weekends.
Note that all train doors close five minutes prior to departure and will not re-open once closed.

How do I receive my Grapevine Santa's North Pole Express souvenir ticket?
Show your mobile or printed email confirmation to redeem your souvenir ticket at the entrance to the North Pole Express®. All groups must be present and together prior to checking in and receiving Souvenir Tickets.
Do weather conditions impact Santa's North Pole Express?
Good news! North Pole Express® runs regardless of weather. All coaches are enclosed and temperature controlled.
Are tickets required for all passengers of Santa's North Pole Express?
Yes, tickets are required for all passengers who have celebrated their first birthday. Lap child tickets are required for those who have not celebrated their first birthday and can be added on to your North Pole Express® ticket purchase.
What parking is available for Santa's North Pole Express?
Please give yourself extra time to park for the North Pole Express®, especially on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as Historic Main Street will be closed to traffic during the Christmas season.

Are strollers, infant car seats and carriers allowed on Santa's North Pole Express?
For safety reasons, strollers, infant car seats and carriers are not allowed on the train. A complimentary stroller valet will be available.
What should I bring and wear for Santa's North Pole Express train ride?
To get into the spirit, children and families are encouraged to wear their festive pajamas onboard the North Pole Express®. The coaches are temperature controlled but please dress for the weather outside as the boarding experience happens outdoors.

Do you offer wheelchair or stroller rentals?
We do not provide wheelchair or stroller rentals, so guests are encouraged to bring their own. Grapevine is easy to navigate, and bringing your own equipment ensures you can explore comfortably throughout your visit.

Is there an option for groups or private skating time?
Yes! There are options for Group Sales and Private Ice Time.
Do you have skates on-site?
Yes, ice skates are provided with your admission ticket. Skate sizes range from toddler size 8 to men’s size 13.
What is the minimum age allowed on the ice?
We welcome skaters 3 years of age and older.
Do you have Ice Skating Trainers available for children?
We currently do not have Ice Skating Trainers available.
What type of clothing should I wear?
Peace Plaza Ice Rink is Texas’ largest outdoor ice rink. Please dress according to the weather conditions and we always encourage you to wear socks and gloves.
What ice skate sizes do you have available?
Skate sizes range from toddler size 8 to men’s size 13.
What if it’s raining?
Please check the Peace Plaza Ice Rink page on our website and/or the Visit Grapevine Facebook and Instagram pages for the latest updates of closures due to inclement weather.
May I go on the ice with my shoes on?
The only footwear allowed on the ice are proper ice skates.
May I bring my own skates, and if I do does it cost less to skate?
You may wear your own skates, but it is the same price with or without your own skates.
Is there a limit to how long I can skate?
Each skating reservation is 1 hour.
If I don’t want to skate, do I have to pay to watch?
All visitors are welcome to watch their friends or family members while they are skating. Please adhere to area closures and maintain an appropriate distance.
