Get the GuideGrapevine is where history and hospitality combine to create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. This Vintage Texas destination offers shops, restaurants and winery tasting rooms along Historic Main Street. This walkable, preserved historic area is home to the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, the Palace Arts Center, the Grapevine Glockenspiel Clock Tower, live entertainment venues and art galleries. It's easy to spend an entire day, or weekend, in this special area of Grapevine.
Climb aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad and you’ll immediately be swept back in time inside authentic, luxury 1920s coaches while enjoying modern conveniences such as air-conditioning during the warm summer months. There are normal excursions that run on the weekends, along with special event wine trains over the summer that let adults enjoy a fun theme while sipping fine Grapevine wine.
As the gem of Main Street, the Palace Arts Center provides visitors a unique opportunity to experience the warmth of Historic Main Street's turn-of-the-century atmosphere recognized by the National Register of Historic Places. The Palace Arts Center is all about entertainment, whether you want to see live entertainment or a classic movie.
Grapevine’s agrarian traditions are preserved at Nash Farm, which includes the original 1869 farmhouse, historic barn and other structures. The farm raises heritage breed livestock including Gulf Coast Sheep, turkeys and chickens and grows heirloom field crops and produce. The farm grounds, historic structures and exhibits are open for self-guided tours during regular business hours.
